Julie Feeney wins the Choice Music Prize for 'Irish Album of the Year'
Julie Feeney is the winner of the inaugural CHOICE MUSIC PRIZE 2006 – Irish Album Of The Year. Her album was selected by 12 judges representing the cream of Irish music critics, journalists and broadcasters. This award is considered to be the Irish equivalent of the ‘Mercury Music Prize' in the U.K.

Julie won the ‘TOYP' national award ‘The Outstanding Young Person of the Year 2008′ for Cultural Achievement. She received third place in the world competition in the same category.
