I'm very happy with a video I've just made with Maria Mochnacz for my song ‘Aching', which will be released in February. Maria and I spent a lot of time coming up with the concept, and it was such a huge pleasure to collaborate with someone so talented. She's just so fab.

Today, we released '13 songs'in the U.K. through Red Ink/Sony BMG U.K. It feels great to finally have a team working with me. I have also this January, taken on a U.K. based manager after having managed myself for over 2 year and a half years. I was very nervous about my first U.K. reviews. [...]

On the16th of November 2006 on ‘Blue of the Night' with Paul Herriot, RTE Lyric FM broadcast a full concert of Julie's album '13 songs' with her ensemble. It was broadcast live from the Sugar Club in Dublin in front of a live audience.

Julie Feeney wins the ‘Irish Tatler Woman of the Year for Music and Entertainment Award’. She received the award in a ceremony at the Mansion House in Dublin.

Julie’s contemporary classical composition for the ‘Crash Ensemble’ was premiered in Dublin on Friday November the 10th 2006. Named ‘The Tail is Wagging the Dog’ it was broadcast live on Lyric FM. She scored it for piano, percussion, cello, accordion and voice. Details of the concert are here.
