Julie Feeney has just toured the U.S. where she released ‘pages’ playing twice to a capacity audience in New York at Joe’s in the Public Theatre. She has sold out many Irish show to rave reviews including recently receiving a 10-minute standing ovation from a capacity audience of 1200 at Ireland’s premier concert hall venue, the National Concert Hall. She is now locked away composing her first opera and her third album so will only perform a select number of shows. Updates will be here!
Her ensemble size ranges from her solo to her with a chamber or symphony orchestra and the number of players in between ranges from one to eight players depending on the show and venue. Julie sings and plays keyboard, piano, accordion, harmonium, sticks, recorder, clarinet and whatever else takes her fancy. Accompaniment if not orchestra is usually by cello, viola, violin, double bass, a trumpets, singers who also play recorders and flutes or orchestra, all depending on the show.
